I just learned of you wed site through a letter posted on LOCALME. Well done to Denise Vella for all her hard work in getting the ME awareness poster done. I would like to include her story in my small newsletter . great website 2.

Congratulations on such a visually appealing & thoughtfully designed site, with a wonderful information resource for both sufferers and those seeking a better understanding. The stories and Sleepydust video are both supportive to those newly diagnosed and educational for carers, friends and family.
I wish you every success in your endeavours to create awareness of ME/CFS in Malta and beyond.
With warm regards, Suzanne Olivante, Founder of the monthly World ME/FM Prayer and Meditation Day.

I'm really sorry to hear about the situation with ME in Malta.
But it doesn't surprise me if you see what a struggle it has been and still is in many/most other countries. The amazing thing is that a lot of doctors and organisations like NICE seem to have an internet allergy and get a brainfade as soon as the word ME is mentioned. I'm a bedbound GP with ME and I have started a BLOG against all the stupidity in the medical profession about ME.
If you want, have a look at:

All the best,
Dr Speedy.

I have just found out about your website, and i'd like to say thankyou for all the support. i have been suffering from so many aches and pains, in and out of hospital for the last 12 years and noone seems to know what is wrong with me, until a few days ago when i was diagnosed with Fibromalgya and CFS. Keep up the good work and thanks from the heart, a problem shared is a problem halfed.

The Sleepydust online video on your Home page really depicts clearly the life of an ME sufferer. No other means has enabled me to show my friends the hardships and sadness I go through in the secrecy of my home. Thank you!

Thanks to my understanding daughter I can come out in the open. I'm not mentally ill or I'm not trying to attract attention. I act 'healthy' to keep my job that supports me so I will not be a burden to my children or family members. However, when I collapse I' m accused being lazy and spoiled. I keep so much inside of me with this M.E. I lost so many friends.

My Mama (Grace) is a sufferer of M.E. and she has just connected me to you. I was with her once when she had an episode and collapsed lifeless in her chair. I managed to get her in bed but never really undertsood the underlying problem, until now. I appreciate your site and I am glad that there is a support network for her condition. I live in Canada and cannot be there for her daily. Thank you so much for being there.
Take Care...Teresa :)

I suffered with M.E. for ten years and had no support at all from anywhere in Malta. Its fantastic to Know there is now support and understanding. One day maybe people will fully understand how awful it is to suffer M.E.

What a well thought out site. It is good to see these different groups emerging for sufferers in Malta. Thank you on their behalf.

Congratulations on your site, which is attractive, neat and easy to navigate. It looks as though you are in for some real challenges in getting ME/CFS recognised in Malta, and we all wish you the best in that process.

I went through your site . Its a great effort for the people in Malta. We must work in our own countries to raise the awreness of M.E .In India alone there must be millions of people and they are unaware and are being treated for all sorts of problems. Keep up the work and keep in touch.

After reading the articles, what can I say...I have no words.
